Shuttles in Muir Woods Lot

Parking Information

Visitors arriving by vehicle must have a reservation in advance. Parking reservations will not be sold onsite in the parking areas. Parking reservations are sold by vehicle size: standard, medium, and large. You are responsible for knowing the length of your vehicle and reserving the appropriate parking type. Visitors arriving in a vehicle that does not correspond with their reservation type may be turned away. Read below for details on reservation type, or visit our FAQ for more information.
The parking areas are walking distance from the entrance to Muir Woods. Your reservation guarantees you a parking space in one of these areas. When you arrive at Muir Woods, a parking ambassador will direct you to a parking area with available parking. There is no shuttle from parking areas to the park entrance, so visitors booking a parking reservation do not need a shuttle reservation.
